Business Valuations

For most business owners, their business is their most important financial asset. Chances are, they do not know what it is worth. We know, because we appraise businesses every day.

The “fair market value” of a business will not be found in your business financial statements or tax returns. You will not be able to get the answer from your accountant or attorney. They simply do not know the market, but we do.

For over 25 years we have been appraising small, closely-held businesses (of all kinds) for a variety of reasons. Some of which include:

  • Buy/Sell Agreements
  • Estate Planning
  • Stockholder Disputes
  • Divorce

Our fees are reasonable, and we provide litigation support when needed.

We have a built-in advantage over most other appraisal firms because we are engaged in the market of selling and buying businesses every day. We know what businesses sell for, because that is what we do. Our opinion is supported by actual data from the sale of thousands of businesses. We also subscribe to databases that provide statistics from the actual sale of businesses from around the United States.

We are members of the Institute of Business Appraisers, the Institute of Certified Business Counselors and the Society of Business Analysts, as well as the International Business Brokers Association.
